Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and lead end‑to‑end Sales Performance Management (SPM) engagements across the Salesforce platform. You will translate customer requirements into scalable, accurate solutions and guide discovery, design, and implementation with a team of specialists.

Based in the US or Canada, this hands‑on role emphasizes billable delivery, collaboration with Technical Architects, and governance of scope and quality, with opportunities to mentor

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience implementing or designing SPM or related sales tech solutions.
• Deep functional expertise across compensation, planning, territory, enablement, with cross‑product solution design ability.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into well‑architected solutions with strong analytical skills.
• Advanced ability to model incentive and planning logic, in both formulaic or Excel form and within the platform.
• Solid data concepts and data quality understanding to partner with Technical Architects.

Responsibilities

• Define the SPM solution vision, roadmap, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead discovery and design workshops; architect end‑to‑end functional solutions across the SPM suite.
• Translate sales strategy into a Salesforce‑centric architecture, spanning commission plans and territory models.
• Own the functional design and configuration leadership across the SPM suite (Salesforce Maps, Sales Planning, Spiff, EC Territory Management).
• Mentor teammates, govern design standards, and support pre‑sales activities including POC development.
