Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. via SDI Services seeks a Solar Superintendent to oversee construction operations at a Peoria, IL site.

You will coordinate solar construction activities, manage crews and subcontractors, ensure safety, and align with geotechnical data and drilling methods to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities include developing schedules and budgets, inspecting sites, maintaining equipment, and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 4 years related experience.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience in foundation drilling or construction management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee solar construction operations per safety regs and specs.
• Lead crews, equipment, and subcontractors to meet timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with engineering to interpret geotechnical data and optimize foundations.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans for projects.
• Conduct site inspections of soils, drilling progress, and QC.
• Enforce safety protocols and train crew members in best practices.
• Maintain equipment and manage inventory for drilling operations.
• Resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare reports and updates for stakeholders and management.
• Lead foundation drilling projects from start to finish, on time and on budget.
