SOLV Energy, LLC SDI Services is seeking a Solar Superintendent to lead on-site construction for utility-scale solar projects in Peoria, IL. You will supervise drilling crews, ensure safety, coordinate with engineering, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The role requires deep geotechnical understanding, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams while upholding OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 4+ years of related experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience in foundation drilling and construction project management may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA familiarity.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee solar construction operations for projects, ensuring safety regulations and project specs.
• Lead solar construction crews, equipment, and subcontractors to meet goals and deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret geotechnical data and optimize foundation designs.
• Develop solar construction schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Conduct site inspections to assess soil conditions, drilling progress, and quality control.
• Maintain equipment and manage inventory to support drilling operations.
• Prepare reports and project updates for stakeholders and management.
