Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Superintendent to lead construction operations on a Peoria, IL site. This role sits within SDI Services, an SOLV Energy affiliate, and will oversee drilling, geotechnical coordination, safety, and budget adherence.

You will plan schedules, manage crews and subcontractors, review geotechnical data, and ensure quality and on‑time project delivery while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 4 years of related experience or proven progressive advancement.
• Experience with foundation drilling and construction project management preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce safety on-site and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee solar construction operations for projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Manage and lead solar construction crews, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret geotechnical data, select drilling methods, and optimize foundation designs.
• Develop construction schedules, budgets, and resource plans; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Lead site inspections, safety meetings, and ensure quality control and documentation for stakeholders.
