Job summary

Pond & Company seeks Site Managers for our fuels systems team. Positions may be worked remotely (with travel) with candidates living in NY or nearby states. You will plan, organize, coordinate, and administer onsite work to meet project requirements on time and within budget.

You will develop strong client relationships, ensuring profitability and repeat business while upholding safety and quality standards across service orders.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in wetted fueling systems—piping, mechanical work, fueling upgrades, hydrant systems, tank work, coatings, inspections, repairs.
• Knowledge of construction practices, UFGS, UFC, ASME codes, API, and related standards.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance or favorable BI.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the Maintenance & Repair System (Prime) for all service orders and coordinates with the Service Order Manager.
• Engages with maintenance activities and ensures safety and quality plans are followed.
• Reviews service orders, ensuring health and safety and quality plans are developed and followed.
• Serves as direct support on service orders between Pond, subcontractors, Huntsville Corp of Engineers and Service Control Points.
• Coordinates with maintenance manager to adhere to schedules and funding requirements.
• Conducts weekly and bi-weekly meetings with subcontractors and PMs to plan actions and resolve issues.
• Keeps the client informed on high-priority repairs and pending issues.
• Maintains look-ahead schedules and ensures on-time contract deliverables.
