Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Principal Signal Integrity Engineer to lead high-speed memory interface and PDN analysis. You will apply AI/ML techniques to accelerate SI/PI decisions and develop automated workflows for efficient simulations.

The ideal candidate has a PhD or MS EE with 5+ years of industry SI/PI experience, deep electromagnetic knowledge, and strong PCB/package development expertise. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

PhD or MS EE with 5+ years of industry SI/PI experience.
Deep experience in signal and power integrity, especially I/O signaling, PMICs, and PI optimization.
Courses covering electromagnetic, transmission line and RF theory, and analog build or related fields.
Experience with EM field solvers and time/frequency domain simulation tools listed above.
Understanding of PCB/layout or electrical package development.

Responsibilities

Lead development and analysis of high-speed memory interfaces and PDN.
Apply AI/ML and data-driven techniques to SI/PI analysis and optimization.
Develop automation, scripting, and AI-assisted workflows to improve simulations.
Collaborate across package, silicon, system, product engineering and marketing to ensure performance.
Drive SI/PI aspects of future standards (JEDEC, ONFI, IBIS).
Support external customers as needed.
