Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment, at Uptown Theater, seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee in-venue operations staff and support the Ops Manager during shows. The role focuses on day-of-show duties, guest relations, and maintaining service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 3–5 years in nightlife leadership, proficiency with Excel/Word, and strong communication. Expect to lead pre-shift meetings, handle incident reports, and coordinate with Security and Guest Services

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3-5 years in restaurant, bar, night club leadership role.
• Working knowledge of high-volume nightclub operations, responsible alcohol service and guest relations.
• Experience in developing operating procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills.
• Ability to train and develop employees.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude.
• Experience handling administrative tasks (inventory, labor forecasting, scheduling, sales reports, handling invoices and performance tracking).
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations staff in-venue and assist Ops Manager.
• Handle day-of-show duties with the team.
• Respond to elevated staff/guest inquiries about shows, VIPs, amenities, and seat upgrades.
• Address security and customer service-related guest concerns.
• Coordinate with Security and Guest Services to meet service standards.
• Perform opening, running, closing duties per Live Nation policy.
• Inform guests of venue amenities and recommendations.
• Maintain atmosphere control by circulating and reporting issues.
• Suggestive selling of venue products and services.
• Stay current with SOPs and communicate them to staff.
• Create pre-shift sheets with management information.
• Turn in lost and found items to Box Office.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Ensure line of sight maintenance and back of house security.
• Lead pre-shift meetings.
• Communicate issues to MOD.
• Work with MOD to resolve guest issues.
• Complete incident reports and witness statements.
• Assist MOD with ejection logs and incident reports.
• Work special events scheduled throughout venue.
