Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead venue operations and maintenance, partnering with market leadership, overseeing front-of-house, preventive maintenance, and Day of Show activities.

The role requires managing staffing, budgets, safety, and compliance while building relationships with local municipalities and police. Onsite presence is required during events.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management is required.
• Minimum two years’ experience as House/Operations Manager or a comparable role.
• Experience dealing with police and public officials.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Experience using Workday or time keeping systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all outstanding tasks are handled personally or via delegation.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise part-time staff across multiple departments.
• Develops and oversees overhead budgets for repairs and venue supplies.
• Assist in annual operations budget preparation with the General Manager.
• Maintain incident records and manage pending cases, including investigations.
• Ensure optimal operation of facility equipment such as traffic and crowd control devices.
• Investigate and resolve guest-related complaints.
• Implement Live Nation policies and programs; maintain standards.
• Create and implement recruiting programs for seasonal staff.
• Oversee onboarding and training for in-sourced positions.
• Develop training programs and ongoing staff development.
• Commit to a safe and enjoyable facility for guests and employees.
• Maintain municipality relationships with police, fire, and traffic departments.
• Coordinate subcontractors and third-party vendors for events.
• Oversee payroll for in-house departments.
• Ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures.
• Be onsite for day-of-show and non-show operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
