Job summary

MOD Pizza in League City, TX is seeking a Restaurant Shift Supervisor (97149). You will lead restaurant operations during shifts, train new hires, and ensure standards are met while delivering an outstanding MOD experience to guests.

The role requires at least 1 year in customer service or restaurant settings, strong mentoring skills, the ability to handle high volume with composure, and willingness to obtain food safety certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train, or lead others.
• Able to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Follow and enforce processes; coach with compassion.
• Calm presence during high-volume periods.
• Food safety certification within 30 days of start date (or as required).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure welcoming, smooth operations, cleanliness, and adherence to MOD standards.
• Train new hires and support program rollouts.
• Maintain equipment and systems including online ordering and catering.
• Ensure food safety across Back of House and Front of House.
• Address guest and squad concerns and escalate when needed.
• Manage cash handling and deposits during the shift.
• Assist with inventory and placing orders with the GM.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use all tools.
• Review emails for updates from Slice and other sources.
