Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Sugar Land, TX to lead restaurant operations during shifts, mentor staff, and ensure high guest satisfaction. You will guide program rollouts, training, and adherence to MOD’s standards while supporting management on daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and coach using established processes.
• Calm presence during high-volume periods.
• Food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Available to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift by deploying the right squad members and adjusting as needed.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad members and support new program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment, including online ordering and review systems.
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety in Back and Front of House.
• Listen, acknowledge, and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift, including making change and refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Adhere to all shift checklists and use tools to complete tasks timely.
• Review email communications from Slice and other sources to keep the squad informed.
