Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Integration & Platform Security Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure integration capabilities across the ServiceNow ecosystem. You will lead engineering of reusable patterns, OAuth frameworks, and API lifecycle management to support applications, automations, AI agents, and external systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow APIs, IntegrationHub, OAuth, platform security, and identity patterns, partnering with product owners,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development.
• Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, software architecture, and design principles.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, support, and continuously improve ServiceNow API integration standards, authentication services, and platform security controls.
• Design, build, deploy, and maintain reusable integration patterns across REST APIs, SOAP services, IntegrationHub, Scripted REST APIs, and MID Server capabilities.
• Develop and operationalize OAuth authentication frameworks, token management patterns, certificate-based authentication, and secure connectivity standards.
• Build and maintain API lifecycle management capabilities including design standards, versioning, documentation, monitoring, deprecation, and retirement practices.
• Define and enforce integration and security standards to ensure consistent adoption across the ServiceNow platform.
