Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Superintendent 1 for the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team in the Washington, DC area.

This role leads construction across electronic security installations, including access control, video, and IT systems, with a focus on safety, schedule, and budget adherence. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in security projects, active SECRET clearance with TS eligibility, and strong CPM scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret.
• High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of experience in security projects.
• 7+ years in installation, integration, and testing of electronic security projects over $500k.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, safety plans, permits, and stakeholder communications.
• Perform material take-offs and plan labor to update 4-week look ahead forecasts.
• Ensure documentation like Change Orders, RFIs, and daily reports are completed.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with regulations.
