Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent 1 to lead Security and Electronic Systems (SES) projects in federal, local, and commercial sectors. The role covers all construction phases, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating crews, managing field operations, and delivering thorough project documentation. The position requires active SECRET clearance and willingness to work nights, including weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 10+ years in security project work.
• 7+ years progressive experience in installation, integration, and testing of electronic security projects valued at >$500k.
• Experience in the Security Industry.
• 2+ years managing security projects as PM/Superintendent/Foreman.
• Experience installing conduit and wiring systems.
• Experience with head end programming and testing of Access Control and Video Management Systems.
• CPM scheduling knowledge.
• Ability to meet deadlines and stay within hours estimates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects finish on time, within budget, and to safety standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, scheduling, and site safety.
• Lead weekly resource allocation and maintain accurate org charts.
• Prepare Change Orders, RFIs, and Daily Reports; ensure proper documentation.
