Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Superintendent 1 for its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

The role requires 10+ years in security installations and strong leadership to coordinate crews, schedules, and field operations. You will ensure quality, safety, and compliance while working with engineers on project prefab plans and on-site testing, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of experience.
• 10+ years in installation, integration, and testing of electronic security projects valued at more than $500k.
• Experience in managing security projects as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or Project Foreman.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, scheduling, site safety, permits, and stakeholder communication.
• Lead safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage project staffing and logistics.
• Maintain project documentation (Change Orders, RFIs, daily reports) and track progress against plans.
• Collaborate with engineers on prefab processes and testing to optimize schedules.
