Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement SAP IS-U customer service solutions for utilities, spanning the meter-to-cash lifecycle. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate service-operation requirements into effective functional designs.

This role requires strong SAP IS-U knowledge, hands-on experience in customer service processes, and willingness to travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including at least three years in SAP IS-U Customer Service.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with SAP IS-U customer, business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, service connection, and customer-service processes.
• Flexibility to travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, move-in/move-out, transfers, start and stop service, and related customer processes.
• Configures SAP IS-U Customer Service solutions, including business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, and related master data.
• Designs and supports service-request, notification, correspondence, and customer-contact processes integrated with SAP IS-U and meter-to-cash.
• Translates service-operation requirements into customer, account, contract, premise, and service-request workflows.
• Coordinates end-to-end process impacts across Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, Work Management, digital channels, field service, and external contact-center systems.
• Supports data conversion activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and cutover readiness.
• Provides knowledge transfer and functional guidance to client teams and junior staff.
