Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement SAP IS-U customer-facing solutions for utility clients in the United States. You will translate service-operation requirements into functional SAP IS-U designs and collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver end-to-end meter-to-cash processes.

The role requires 3–4 years in SAP IS-U/Utilities, strong client-service skills, and willingness to travel 40–60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Three to four years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including at least three years in SAP IS-U Customer Service.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with SAP IS-U customer, business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, service connection, and customer-service processes.
• Travel up to 40-60% is expected to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, move-in/move-out, transfers, start and stop service, and related processes.
• Configure and design SAP IS-U Customer Service solutions including business partner, contract account, and premise data.
• Design and support service-requests, notifications, and customer-contact processes integrated with SAP IS-U.
• Translate service-operation requirements into customer, account, contract, premise, and service-request workflows.
• Coordinate impacts across Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, Work Management, field service, and related systems.
• Validate exceptions related to activation, billing readiness, payment status, data changes, and integrations.
• Produce functional designs, configuration docs, test scenarios, data mappings, and other deliverables.
• Support testing cycles and production issue resolution, including cutover readiness and post-go-live stabilization.
