Job summary

Curaleaf is hiring a Lead Store Associate in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead a retail team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure compliant store operations in a fast-paced environment. The role requires leadership experience, POS proficiency, and strong customer service skills.

Starting pay is $17.50–$19.25 per hour plus tips. The position entails opening/closing duties, inventory checks, and a focus on sales performance and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• 1 year customer-facing or sales experience.
• 1 year of POS/cash handling experience.
• 6 months leadership experience in retail.
• 6+ months in retail store operations incl. opening/closing and cash reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a welcoming environment and coach the team.
• Empower associates with product knowledge and personalized service.
• Drive on-floor consultative selling and educate guests on promotions.
• Enroll guests in rewards programs and capture customer insights.
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant store operations.
• Lead opening/closing duties and cash handling with accuracy.
• Support leadership and train new hires as needed.
