Job summary

Curaleaf is seeking a Lead Store Associate for our Phoenix, AZ location. You will guide a team to deliver exceptional customer service, drive product education, and maintain compliant, high-performing store operations.

The role emphasizes coaching, inventory accuracy, and daily KPI achievement in a fast-paced, regulated retail setting. You must be 21+, have a HS diploma or GED, and bring 1+ year of customer-facing experience with POS systems; leadership experience in retail is required.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year in a customer-facing or sales role
• Minimum 1 year using POS systems and cash handling
• Minimum 6 months leadership experience in retail
• Minimum 6 months in store operations including opening/closing and cash reconciliation
• Curaleaf team members need at least 6 months as a Store Associate with consistent performance
• Strong leadership and team-building skills; familiarity with SOPs and loss prevention
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a high-volume, compliance-driven setting
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and some overnights

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and coach a retail team to deliver excellent customer experiences
• Drive consultative selling and product education on the floor
• Promote loyalty by enrolling guests in rewards programs
• Support cash handling, opening/closing duties, and daily huddles
• Ensure accurate POS profiles and inventory accuracy
• Maintain a clean, compliant, guest-ready store environment
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback to drive performance
• Collaborate with leadership to achieve daily KPIs and sales targets
