Job summary

Curaleaf is seeking a Lead Store Associate in Punta Gorda, FL to deliver exceptional customer experiences and guide a retail team. You’ll act as a brand ambassador, drive performance, and help maintain a welcoming, compliant store environment.

Responsibilities include leading opening/closing duties, ensuring ID checks, inventory accuracy, and engaging customers with product education. Strong leadership and communication are a must.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing or sales experience.
• Minimum 1 year using POS systems and cash handling.
• Minimum 6 months leadership experience in retail.
• 6 months retail store operations experience including opening/closing and cash reconciliation.
• Curaleaf Team Members need a minimum of 6 months as Store Associate with consistent performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a warm, welcoming environment and coach your team.
• Empower associates with personalized product recommendations and expert guidance.
• Drive consultative selling on the floor with open-ended questions and active listening.
• Enroll guests in rewards program and capture customer insights.
• Resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Uphold SOPs, safety protocols, and state regulations; ensure checkout smoothness.
• Lead opening/closing duties, cash reconciliation, and inventory accuracy.
