Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Superintendent to manage multiple homes from permit to closing, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring quality and compliance with all codes.

You will drive on-time delivery, site safety, and excellent customer service throughout the build cycle. The role requires strong communication with sales and warranty teams, ability to drive budgets, and willingness to travel among communities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with 2–4 years construction-related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedule from permit to occupancy and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors across phases, ensuring code compliance and workmanship standards.
• Inspect sites, approve payments to subs, and manage post-close warranty processes.
• Maintain open communication with sales, warranty, and management teams for issue resolution.
• Ensure site safety, cleanliness, and overall site presentation throughout construction.
