Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to manage all functions of the job site for home construction from permit to closing, coordinating subcontractors, inspections, and homeowner walks while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will lead scheduling, ensure on-time delivery within budget, and communicate with sales and warranty teams to drive a positive customer experience across multiple communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2–4 years related experience.
• Ability to read/interpret construction documents, drawings, and specs.
• Proficiency with MS Office and DRH Construction applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule to deliver on time and within budget.
• Schedule subcontractors and inspect workmanship for compliance with plans and codes.
• Complete each home from planning through occupancy and satisfy all contract obligations.
• Oversee customer experience during construction and provide regular progress updates.
• Monitor site cleanliness and safety, ensuring quality standards.
• Manage post-close warranty process and coordinate warranty repairs.
• Collaborate with sales, warranty, and management teams to maintain open communication.
