Job summary

BKF Engineers seeks an experienced professional to serve as the Owner's representative on bridge, roadway, and civil construction projects. You will ensure compliance with contract documents and coordinate across field teams to meet project goals.

Key responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing quality control and contract administration, reviewing changes, and coordinating testing and surveying activities to support successful delivery of major projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• California registered Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• 7+ years of construction contract management experience on roadway/bridge projects.
• Working knowledge of CALTRANS/local agency projects desired.
• Able to effectively manage people.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner's representative on bridge, roadway, and civil construction projects.
• Ensure projects are built in accordance with contract documents.
• Oversee quality control and quality assurance.
• Manage staff and contract administration.
• Review change orders, shop drawings, materials testing, and surveying activities.
• Conduct project meetings and coordinate utility activities.
