Job summary
Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Senior Relay Technician to serve as technical lead for protection and control systems, overseeing advanced testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project execution. You will guide field teams, analyze protection schemes, and ensure safe, reliable operation of substation and industrial systems while engaging with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Pass pre-employment drug screen for safety sensitive role.
- Criminal background check required.
- Willing to travel/out-of-town for periods.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Experience installing, maintaining, testing & repairing protective relays in substations.
- Knowledge of relay test software.
Responsibilities
- Lead safety briefings and enforce safety policies on job sites.
- Analyze protection schemes for power systems and coordinate field activities.
- Perform installation, commissioning, testing & commissioning documentation.
- Develop commissioning procedures, outage sequences, and energization plans.
- Mentor Relay Technician I/II and junior engineers on protection practices.
- Interface with customers and stakeholders to communicate status and resolve issues.
