Smithfield Packaged Meats Corp in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure safety and quality, and drive efficiency on the line. You will guide hourly staff, coordinate with maintenance, and mentor team members to meet daily targets.

You'll manage training, enforce HACCP/USDA standards, monitor yields and variances, and partner with Operations to reduce downtime while controlling costs. Travel is minimal.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading and mentoring staff on a production line.
• Strong verbal and written communication with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to motivate teams, train staff, and maintain a positive work environment.

Mansioni

• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on the production floor, including HACCP/USDA.
• Maintain product quality by following food safety plans and SOPs.
• Track yields, efficiencies, and variances; drive workflow improvements to reduce downtime.
• Lead hourly employees, conduct monthly line meetings, and communicate daily objectives.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to boost efficiency and control costs.
