Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience leading training, coaching or mentoring to staff.
Strong communication (oral and written) for problem-solving complex process issues with solid analytical and math abilities.
Motivating, training and coaching employees to peak performance in a positive, team-focused environment.
Willing to work long hours, weekends, and travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

Safety and Compliance: perform daily inspections, lead safety audits, ensure HACCP and USDA regulations.
Product Quality and Training: enforce Food Safety and Food Quality plans, train on safe operating procedures including LOTO.
Operational Efficiency: track yields, efficiencies, and variances; work with Ops Managers to reduce downtime and costs.
Team Leadership and Communication: direct hourly production employees, lead monthly line meetings, walk the floor daily.
Continuous Improvement: analyze product metrics and suggest changes to improve efficiency and quality.
