Job summary

bioMérieux seeks a Production Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team in maintenance and reliability activities at our Durham, NC site. This role focuses on planning, executing, and improving preventive and corrective maintenance while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards.

You will oversee projects, manage resources, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance execution and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Mechatronics or related field with 4+ years’ experience leading maintenance teams.
• Alternatively, 8+ years of experience with highly automated electrical and mechanical systems and leadership.
• Experience with CMMS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians and supervise daily operations.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on complex systems.
• Implement and oversee maintenance plan and strategy.
• Ensure safety and quality standards compliance.
• Contribute to budget forecasting within own perimeter.
• Oversee projects including new machine installations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and optimize resources.
• Provide training and development for team.
• Maintain documentation per site procedures and cGMP.
