Job summary

bioMerieux in North Carolina is seeking a Production Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians, manage daily operations, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance in a highly automated facility.

You will develop and implement maintenance plans, ensure safety and quality, manage CMMS work orders, coordinate with outside contractors, and contribute to budget forecasts while planning projects such as new equipment installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Mechatronics or related field.
• Or 8+ years of experience with highly automated electrical and mechanical systems in a leadership role.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating with outside contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians and oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Conduct advanced maintenance and troubleshooting on complex systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement and ensure execution of the maintenance operational plan and strategy.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
• Contribute to budget forecast and analysis in the own perimeter.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and effectively manage resources to optimize performance.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to solve and address complex problems and drive root cause analysis.
• Plan, initiate, and track work orders using CMMS to meet schedules.
• Provide training and mentoring to team members and foster development.
