Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Lead Product Designer to own a critical area of the product portfolio. You will partner with Product and Engineering to define problems worth solving, shape the roadmap, and deliver high-impact experiences for first responders.

You will lead end-to-end design from discovery to delivery, mentor teammates, and influence across the design organization. This role offers remote-friendly work with multiple offices and a strong emphasis on craft and systems thinking.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional product design experience
• 5+ years designing complex enterprise SaaS products
• Led design for a substantial product area and drove end-to-end outcomes
• Strong product judgment across customer needs and business priorities
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative user research to inform decisions
• Collaborated closely with Product and Engineering leaders
• Excellent interaction and visual design skills and craftsmanship
• Able to communicate complex design decisions clearly to stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Set the design direction for a critical product area and create a clear long-term vision
• Lead discovery through delivery in collaboration with Product and Engineering
• Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities in design tradeoffs
• Translate high-stakes workflows for first responders into intuitive product experiences
• Design across devices and environments, ensuring ecosystem coherence
• Contribute to design system, patterns, and cross-team design quality
• Present product visions and design recommendations to customers and leaders
• Explore AI/ML opportunities to improve workflows and responsible AI-powered features
• Refine interactions, review implementations with engineers, and iterate on edge cases
