Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Lead Product Designer to own a major area of our product portfolio. You will partner with Product and Engineering to define problems worth solving and guide cross-functional teams from discovery through delivery, focusing on first responders and public safety users.

You will shape design across dispatch, records, analytics, and mobile apps, elevate design craft, contribute to our design system, and influence product strategy in a fast-moving, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional product design experience across complex software products.
Experience leading design for major product areas, from discovery to shipped outcomes.
Strong ability to influence product strategy and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

Set design direction for a critical product area and create a clear vision.
Lead initiatives from discovery through delivery with research and synthesis.
Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities in design decisions.
Work with first responders and public safety workflows to craft reliable, intuitive experiences.
Contribute to design systems and cross-team guidance to raise craft standards.
Present design recommendations to customers and senior leaders with clear rationale.
