Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation, providing technical leadership in mold design, process optimization, and equipment qualification.

The role interfaces with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and vendors to ensure tooling and processes meet safety, quality, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Plastics or related field.
5–8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing or tooling engineering.
Experience with ISBM tooling, mold qualification, validation, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new/replacement/rebuilt molds.
Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
Develop and maintain tooling standards, process sheets and documentation.
