Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling projects, mold qualification, and process optimization across manufacturing operations. You will coordinate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and vendors to ensure safety, quality, and performance meet customer requirements.

You will develop standards, drive continuous improvement, and mentor technicians while managing tooling design reviews, qualification activities, and project documentation across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing or tooling engineering.
• Experience with ISBM tooling, mold qualification, validation, and process optimization.
• 2+ years of project management preferred.
• Experience supporting startups and production launches is a plus.
• Proficiency with CAD, SAP, Windchill, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling project management from quotation to implementation.
• Direct mold design reviews and oversee tooling specifications.
• Drive process qualification, validation, and DOE studies.
• Support machine startups and troubleshooting across sites.
• Develop engineering standards and document best practices.
• Mentor technicians and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
