Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation and provide technical leadership in mold manufacturing, process optimization, and equipment validation.

You will liaise between Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, vendors, and plant teams to ensure tooling designs and production systems meet safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Plastics Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
• Develop and maintain Process of Adjustment (POA) documentation and baseline parameters.
