Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of blow molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation and provide technical leadership in mold design, qualification, and process optimization.

You will collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and Quality to ensure tooling designs meet safety, quality, and customer requirements, while driving

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience preferred.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors required.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional, visual, and performance specs at designed cycle times.
• Establish validated baseline processes and maintain standardized Master Process Sheets.
• Develop tooling standards, specifications, and documentation; manage vendor relations.
