Job summary

Thomson Reuters in Eagan, MN seeks a Lead/#1 Press Operator to lead a production line on core publishing solutions. You will operate state-of-the-art offset and digital presses, manage crews, and drive continuous improvements.

Eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus after 90 days in role, with 2nd shift duties and overtime as needed. Join a team focused on quality, safety, and efficiency in a dynamic printing environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED or higher; vocational/technical degree preferred
• Experience leading and training others
• Experience with industrial production machinery
• Strong mechanical/technical skills; troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Lean and continuous improvement experience
• Good communication across shifts and departments
• Proven track record as a trainer
• Ability to run multiple pieces of equipment
• Lead experience on 1-2 color web offset presses and 4-color sheetfed offset presses
• Ability to read and explain safety rules, maintenance docs, and production orders
• Able to lift 5 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand/walk/kneel as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and training to crew to optimize performance
• Ensure line runs smoothly and produces quality product
• Facilitate Tier 1 meetings and Gemba Walk discussions
• Train temps or transfers to support workload
• Motivate team and foster collaborative environment
