Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. seeks a Plant Manager to lead mining raw materials production at the Glyndon, MN site. You will plan, direct, and optimize operations to meet dispatch requests efficiently while ensuring quality and safety.

Key responsibilities include staffing, inventory monitoring, coordinating with dispatch and QA, and implementing productivity strategies while controlling costs. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Field of Study Preferred: Mining Engineering and Management.
• Required Work Experience: 5-7 years Aggregate Mining and related Raw Materials Plant Production experience.
• Required Technical Skills: Computer proficiency required; SAP experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consistently identify new operational opportunities and develop strategies for improving efficiency and productivity.
• Address customer needs while promoting long-term company interests.
• Initiate and implement production and scheduling programs to increase productivity while maintaining safety and controlling costs.
• Manage subordinate personnel, meet deadlines, and oversee plant operations with fiscal integrity.
• Delegate responsibilities and evaluate subordinates’ performance; hold others accountable constructively.
• Participate in safety inspections (MSHA) and company inspections.
• Coordinate with site crew, including plant operators and laborers; may participate in operating crew.
• Supervise production, schedule work, and perform preventative maintenance routines.
• Maintain inventory levels at site to service customers.
