Job summary

Advocate Health's Advocate Medical Group in Park Ridge seeks a Lead Patient Service Representative to support providers, connect with patients, and ensure a compassionate, seamless experience in ambulatory care.

You will handle scheduling, chart preparation, and clerical operations; the role is five 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with clinic hours 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years in a medical setting or equivalent.
• 3-4 years of customer service in a high-volume, high-stress environment.
• Basic knowledge of managed care, commercial insurance, medical terminology, and billing/coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling: General and Financial
• Pulls and prepares medical charts in advance for appointments in accordance to hospital and departmental policy
• Functions as lead associate for clerical office operations.
