Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our ambulatory care team. The role supports providers, connects with patients, and ensures a seamless, compassionate experience across Mount Prospect and Park Ridge locations. Typical shifts are 8 hours, Monday–Friday, with one Saturday per month.

You will handle patient inquiries, scheduling, billing support, and medical record coordination to keep the patient journey smooth and efficient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years related customer service experience
• Experience handling difficult caller/customers/patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides efficient, high-quality patient service at appointments or inquiries about tests, bills, referrals, and information.
• Assists with billing information entry and follow-up as needed.
• Upholds standards for accurate and timely medical records.
