Job summary

Advocate Health's AMG is seeking a Patient Service Representative to provide efficient customer service, scheduling, registration, and billing support across six Park Ridge and Des Plaines locations as part of a rotating assignment.

You will assist clinical staff, collect payments, enter accurate billing data, and help maintain medical records while working a five-day schedule, with occasional Saturday shifts and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years related customer service experience
• Experience handling difficult callers/customers/patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, high-quality patient services, scheduling, registration and billing support across six AMG locations.
• Assist clinical staff in maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring timely data entry for patient billing.
• Collect payments at time of service, enter billing information, and support providers to ensure a seamless patient experience.
