Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in the Puget Sound region seeks a Lead Patient Access Representative to oversee the patient intake process in our clinic, ensuring accurate demographics, insurance verification, scheduling, and payments are handled efficiently.

You will lead front-end staff, resolve eligibility issues, coordinate referrals and authorizations, and provide clear information about billing and plan benefits to patients, while delivering compassionate service.

Formación

• One year of customer service experience.
• One year of work as a Patient Access Representative II (or equivalent) or similar role.
• Any combination of experience or education demonstrating capability for the position.

Responsabilidades

• Registers and checks patients in/out; verifies demographics and insurance; collects payments.
• Performs end-of-day cash reconciliation; balances and closes cash drawers; prepares for next day.
• Conducts insurance eligibility checks and processes referrals/pre-authorizations.
• Provides cost estimates and answers billing/insurance questions for patients.
• Coordinates appointments and ancillary services; arranges transportation and interpreters as needed.
• Maintains clear communication with patients and staff to ensure a seamless intake experience.
