Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead an in-house optical team and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will open/close the store as a keyholder and foster a positive, productive environment for opticians and retail advisors.

Ideal candidates are licensed dispensing opticians with 2+ years of supervisory experience, comfortable explaining prescriptions, and dedicated to outstanding service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• ABO-certified optician in states without licensing requirements.
• Clear, professional communicator who explains terms to customers.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist customers to meet eyewear needs and take/record measurements.
• Check that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team and participate in Apprentice Program.
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and business operations.
