Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to join our in-house optical team. As a keyholder, you’ll open/close the store, lead a team of opticians and retail advisors, and deliver outstanding customer experiences.

The ideal candidate is a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states) with 2+ years of supervisory experience, excellent communication, and a detail‑oriented, positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years of experience including supervisory duties.
• ABO-certified optician preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Passion for eyewear and retail.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead optical duties including measuring, fitting, and ensuring quality standards.
• Record measurements and explain prescription terms to customers.
• Oversee store operations and ensure Warby Parker standards.
• Mentor Optician Apprentice Program participants.
• Maintain inventory and store systems.
