Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team, coach the store’s Opticians, and consult with customers to ensure eyewear meets our standards and delivers exceptional service.

You will manage a team, oversee the Apprentice Program, stay current with HR policies, and support store operations and inventory. The role emphasizes leadership, professional development, and a passion for eyewear; competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified optician in licensing state.
• At least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong leadership, mentorship and customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication; ability to explain technical terms to customers.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store's Opticians and coach the team on floor.
• Consult customers and ensure eyewear meets specs and standards.
• Uphold service standards and implement programs to boost loyalty.
• Oversee Apprentice Program participants and HR policy adherence.
• Support store systems, inventory, and day-to-day operations.
