Job summary

Warby Parker in Denville, NJ is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team. You will coach Opticians, consult customers, and ensure precise measurements and alignment with optical standards.

The role requires a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified where licensure is not required) with at least two years in a management position. You will foster a high-performance store environment and drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must hold a licensed dispensing optician credential where required by state law.
• ABO certification accepted where licensure is not required.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching experience in a retail optical setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Opticians and coach on floor performance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and explain eyewear options clearly.
• Take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure accuracy to optical standards.
• Oversee store systems, inventory, and daily operations.
• Ensure HR policies are followed and maintain a productive work environment.
