Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a skilled Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team and elevate customer experiences. You will coach and guide Opticians, consult customers, and ensure precise measurements and eyewear quality.

This role blends leadership with hands-on optical duties to deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate is a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states) with 2+ years in a management position, a strong communicator, and a passion for eyewear

Qualifications

• Must hold a dispensing optician license in states requiring licensure or ABO certification in non-licensing states.
• Minimum 2+ years in a management role leading optical teams.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities with focus on service quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Opticians on the shop floor.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards and implement optical programs.
• Collaborate with Store Leader to plan staffing and oversee Optician Apprentice Program.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and maintain a safe, engaging store culture.
• Support store systems, inventory, and daily operations.
