Cox Fleet, a Cox Automotive company, seeks a Sr. Mobile Diesel & Trailer Mechanic to perform DOT inspections, complex diagnostics, and repairs on a mobile/field fleet. You’ll lead on-site jobs, triage repairs, and ensure safety and compliance across our nationwide service footprint.

The role requires extensive hands-on diesel knowledge, tool use, and documentation via company apps, with a focus on reliable, quality service on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related field experience.
• Experience with DOT inspections and preventative maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on light to heavy-duty fleet.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulics, and mechanical systems on trucks/trailers.
• Utilize handheld devices and TRAIT app to document work and parts used.
• Manage parts inventory and schedule daily service activities on-site.
