Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and advanced repairs on a mobile fleet.

You will diagnose, repair, and document work in a fast-paced field environment, complying with DOT and safety standards. The role requires at least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment, HS diploma or GED, and ASE T2/L2 certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• ASE T2 and L2 certifications are preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on trucks in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose malfunctions using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Document work performed, parts used, and findings on RO using mobile devices and TRAIT app.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards; complete DOT forms and paperwork on time.
