Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs on trucks and trailers in a mobile, field setting. You will lead on jobsites, triage repairs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while documenting work via iOS and TRAIT.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, independent scheduling, and effective client communication. Benefits include weekly pay, safety bonuses, and company gear support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; 3–7+ years related experience accepted.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) and 608/609 within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory compliance and DOT medical card requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light–heavy vehicles in mobile environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Test and road‑test vehicles; document findings and RO in TRAIT app.
