Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics in a mobile/field environment. You will lead on jobsites, coordinate with customers, manage parts and tools, and document work with our TRAIT app.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of related experience; hand tools are necessary and OEM training is preferred. Includes a $3,000 new hire bonus paid in two installments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' related experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical/brake/cooling systems, engines, transmissions, and related truck equipment.
• Document work and parts used on Repair Orders using a mobile device and TRAIT app.
• Maintain safety checks and daily pre-/post-trip inspections of vehicle.
