Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced diagnostics in a mobile/field setting.

You will handle electrical, braking, and engine systems, document findings, and coordinate with customers for technical solutions. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma with 5+ years in the field, ASE certifications, and the ability to work independently with a company-provided service truck and TRAIT app.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5 years related experience; alternate combos allowed.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge; DOT medical card requirements.
• ASE T8 (PMI) and other ASE certifications preferred/required within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose to identify malfunctions using manuals and diagnostic tools.
• Manage parts inventory and company-issued service truck; complete RO with photos on TRAIT app.
