Job summary

Cox Fleet, a leader in mobile on-site fleet service, is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to support maintenance across our nationwide network.

You will perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance, diagnose complex problems, and conduct advanced mechanical work on trucks and trailers in a mobile setting. You will document findings via TRAIT app and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• DOT compliance: able to complete pre-employment screening and DOT medical card requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose, repair, and test electrical, hydraulic, braking, cooling and engine systems on trucks and trailers.
• Document work and parts used using the TRAIT app and repair orders on an iOS device.
• Maintain and operate the service vehicle and manage parts inventory.
• Coordinate with customers and management to ensure high-quality service and on-time completion.
